~*MY FAMILY*~

Hey there...my name is Azurayah.  I'm a 34 year old mama with 2 beautiful children.   My daughter Marin is 12 and my son Zion is almost 9.  I grew up in Minnesota and moved to Arizona in 1993.  I AM currently in the process of relocating to the Bay area in a few short weeks.  I just completed the mind body transformational psychology program at the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts as well as my yoga teacher training.

Marin is busy enjoying school.  She is in 6th grade and is loving middle school.  She is actively involved in her school.  She is in the drama club and art club.  Zion is in 3rd grade and doing really well.  He's really wanting to learn the guitar and is anxiously awaiting lessons.  Meanwhile, he has become a pro at Guitar hero;)  I'm so proud of them both!  I'm the luckiest mama in the world:)  

We love to go to shows.  We usually travel during the summer and vend my goods at music festivals.  We also enjoy hiking, camping and getting together with family for potlucks and drum circles.

  As for my love of stitching...I've been sewing heavily for the last 13 years, however, my grandmother originally taught me as a child.  I didn't get really serious about it until I was on Dead tour.  That is when I realized the creative possibilities.  Sewing is a very spiritual thing for me.  I am able to envision something in my head and then bring it into this reality.  I'm usually listening to Jerry, Panic or another musical artist that inspires me and everything seems to flow the way it needs to.  I put alot of love into everything I create.  I think my favorite part is sharing my creations with all of you.  When someone tells me how good they feel in something I've created....well that's why I do what I do.
